Surgery Update

Doctor just poked his head in and told me that the surgery went fine. They were hoping to use the epidural line for the surgery, but it didn't work well enough and they wound up putting her to sleep. They will be bringing her in after she recovers. I'm not sure what that means for my plans the rest of the night. I had planned on hanging around here only until she had had something to eat and was comfortable. Since they gassed her up, it might be a bit before she is able to eat. Might be a long night (expect to hear plenty of that for the next 5 months!).
