Working hard or hardly working

Cade has been asking for so much "stuff" lately. I have been telling him that Christmas in around the corner and that I wasn't going to buy anything. The school book fair was this week and I told them if they wanted to find a way to earn some money then they could buy a book. Dad has been working hard at getting his lawn lush and green. He pretty much killed the entire yard with round up. He irrarated yesterday morning and had some major planting and spreading of straw to do in the afternoon. The boys were more than willing to go "help" him for a price that is. Papa said he would pay them a little bit for helping. They worked hard for a couple of hours and then we headed to family night at the book fair. They were all excited to pick out a book. Cade got a Spiderman Comic book. Kelson got a book about snakes- gross! And Analise got one all about Fairies. Thank you Papa for letting them "help" you! They love to spend time outside with their Papa!

I know they don't look Mexican, but doesn't get more Mexican than snacking on G'ma's tortillas!

Waiting for Papa to get done spreading seed so they could help with the straw.

I love Kelson's shirt! He could be from a farm in Idaho, or just Chemo's grandson :)
