Dentist Appointments

Yesterday was Sassy's first visit to the dentist and Kelson had a very minor surface cavity to be fixed. We got there at 10:30am and were in the car on the way home by 11am.
Seriously the shortest visit ever!

Sassy did great. She allowed them to do everything to her that they did to the older kids. She wasn't crazy about the taste of the fluoride treatment but took it like a trooper.
"All clean Mommy- show Daddy!" was all she would say walking out to the car!
Kelson's Numb Smile!

They don't really allow parents to go back when they are fixing cavities and such. I'm sure if a parent had a HUGE problem with it then they might change but I thought Kelson would be fine. When he came back he was all smiles. I can't believe what this dentist can accomplish with children! I was so pleased that he left his numb cheek alone for the couple of hours it took for it wear off. Cade always chews his cheek until its a huge canker sore. Kelson liked the way his cheek and chin felt when it was numb. He would sit and rub it and say, "Mommy, it's so soft!" He was actually kind of mad when it got all the feeling back. Weird kid!
