2 Year Old Artwork

Work & Play
Typical Monday at work. Computers were all being pains in the butt...which meant it went really slowly.

For some reason the construction crew didn't show up today. Not sure why. They must have had another job to work on today, or our flooring didn't come in (which is what I think). Hoping they show up tomorrow.

Spent most of the night catching up on the blog. Wish I had something more exciting to share, but that is about it. The end.

Llano Update (Cheeto's Brood)
Shena taught the lesson for FHE. We read a quick story in "The Friend" about a little boy who lives in Soda Springs who Shena knows, then Cade "read" us his Cat in the Hat book. It's funny to listen to him make up the story as he goes from the pictures he sees. Kelson just climbed all over everybody while we tried to read, and didn't listen at all...but at least he wasn't screaming or anything.

Kelson did get in big trouble today, though. He decided to use the hallway wall as a crayon art piece. I call it "Spaghetti on Drywall." Shena was not a happy camper this afternoon. He is having the hardest time learning what "no" is. I think he knows, he just ignores us. Doesn't matter what kind of punishment we try (I'm going to try hanging him upside next) he just doesn't stop. It's so frustrating. Cade was a quick learner when it came to doing things wrong. He might still do things bad, but when we tell him to quit, he knows he's wrong and he will. Kelson will just look at you, blink, then keep going. If anybody wants to borrow a kid for a couple years, let us know. We'll take him back when he's past this stage and minding everybody.
Arellano Update
Mom and Dad calling
Christensen Update
Shena said that her dad and Kyle had a rough day the other day. They were pulling a trailer with a mower on it to take over to grandma C's to mow her yard. Somehow the hitch came off and the trailer came off. It went into a ditch and flipped, ruining the mower. Luckily there was no one around for the trailer to hit...that could have been bad.

Daily Report
LAST NIGHT:
Sleep: 12:15 - 5:18 - 6:00 - 8:00 - Kelson got up for some reason at 5:18 and wouldn't go back to bed. He just screamed and screamed. Finally Shena went in and laid with him for a few minutes and talked him into staying in his bed. Took me a while to get back to sleep after that. I wish I could have slept in until 10:00, but alas, I had to get to work.

TODAY:
Breakfast: none

Lunch: leftover spaghetti casserole, cheese bread, and green beans. One of the few leftovers I don't mind. Had milk and then a little piece of cake, too.

Dinner: Chocolate chip waffles (chocolate chips were Shena's idea). I wasn't as hungry as I normally am for dinner because I had such a big lunch.
