This was a short notice trip for the me and the girls. Adam's girl, Amanda had a small graduation ceremony at Camp Lejeune. Mom was going but she was going alone and I offered to go with her for company. We left Wednesday night around 6 and were home by 2:30pm Thursday afternoon. Seriously, a QUICK trip. We got to the hotel pretty late. A2 and A1 were wired. A1 calmed down pretty fast but A2 was up until 1am at least. I was shocked that Mom wouldn't even consider playing rock-paper-scissors to see who got to sleep with her. She didn't even hesitate saying she got Sassy as a sleeping buddy! :)
We were literally the only family there of all the graduates. A little awkward but fine. It just made the girls stand out with every little whisper they made.

Sassy wanted to wear her hat until I wanted to take her picture.We grabbed a quick bite at Cracker Barrell before hitting the road.
